South Of Dallas was born and bred in garages and churches of our hometown, Gastonia, NC.  Our name is a directional reference to Dallas, NC, which holds historical significance in Gaston County.

We are a Cover Band playing classics by Tom Petty, Eagles, Huey Lewis, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Collective Soul, Stone Temple Pilots, and other faves from the 60s-2000s, but have a few originals in our pocket as well.
